Solalba – Vino Bianco Passito

Prezzo: 20,00120,00

Descrizione

The birth of our white wine from dried grapes is the result of a careful process that begins with the manual harvesting of the grapes in the early morning hours of August. These carefully selected grapes are then left to dry in the sun in a ventilated fruit cellar for around 20 days, a method that concentrates flavors and aromas.

This is followed by soft pressing of the whole grapes, to extract the rich and concentrated juices, and then fermentation takes place at 18C in steel containers, in an environment that favors the transformation of the must into a wine of extraordinary quality. The refinement continues in barrique, where the wine acquires further nuances thanks to contact with the fine lees and continuous battonage.

This care and attention to detail are reflected in a wine with an alcohol content of 15.5% Vol., which has an intense golden yellow color and offers balsamic notes of sage and liquorice, accompanied by a balanced sweetness and lively acidity. . The production limited to 300 aue bottles makes every sip a precious moment, ideal to be served at a temperature of 10-15C, guaranteeing an authentic tasting experience deeply linked to the land of origin.

Our vineyards are located in Faenza, in the province of Ravea. Located on the Via Emilia and nestled on the Faenza hills at 80 meters above sea level, the clay and silt soil characterizes this area, contributing to the quality of the grapes.

This composition of the soil, together with the unique climate of the area, allows the grapes to reach optimal maturation, giving the wine mineral notes and a rich complexity. Our attention to winemaking emphasizes these qualities, offering a wine of balanced sweetness and refreshing acidity, deeply linked to its territory of origin.
